Gap's basics, especially their hoodies and t-shirts, usually feel a bit thicker and hold up better after washes than H&M in my experience. H&M is cheaper but fades/thins faster.

For me, their high-rise stuff feels pretty snug, but the boyfriend jeans are definitely more relaxed. if you're on the fence, maybe size up for comfort, you can always exchange.
